Gurgaon: Hepatitis Day camp organized for all Maruti Employees, Gurugram

"One Life, One Liver"

Every year, on July 28, World Hepatitis Day is celebrated to raise awareness of viral hepatitis, which causes liver inflammation and leads to severe disease and liver cancer. To mark World Hepatitis Day, Paras Labs (An Initiative of Paras Healthcare) organised Hepatitis Screening Test at Maruti Limited from July 27 to August 3, 2023. Around 2000 employees of Maruti attended the camp.

The camp provided the following facilities:

• Blood pressure check-up
• Complimentary HBV test
• Complimentary HCV test

In addition to the medical check-up, employees including men, women, were also educated on the importance of good health. These camps help ensure that people receive healthcare at the right time and see a doctor early enough to prevent a minor health issue from becoming serious.
